If I didn't pop my pimples and left them alone, would they vanish by themselves? I am speaking about whiteheads and pimples with no heads. I always tend to pop mine, but they leave behind red or brown marks and I don't want a face full of these stains anymore.

Yeah, popping pimples will cause red marks that last for days, but then again if you leave them alone, they will still be there for days.

I've struggled with acne and then mild skin blemishes for my entire adult life and I have to state that I now tend to leave pimples alone which don't have a head and pop those with white heads. I think it's quite disgusting to have whiteheads visible on my face and I'd much rather a red mark than a bulging pus-filled volcano!

Needless to say, if you decide to leave them alone, be sure to wash your face twice a day and I would suggest using a cleansing lotion after washing, to keep the skin clean. Pimples are, after all, caused by dirt.

Yea it does . okay so i breakout on my forhead sometimes and when i pop them it makes them only worse . ! Just try and leave them alone . Even if they look absolutly nasty . And was your face twice a day . Once at night and once in the morning . Use benzoyl peroxide wash . Not salyicalic acid . acne free is an breathtaking product . You can but it at rite aid or walmart .

white heads will disappear within a few days as long as you wash your face regularly and keep oil away.. it not good to pop your pimples as yeah it does cause scars and it doesn't look nice… just leave them alone and they’ll go away.. i find that using soap and a flannel works really well for me, but thats my skin.. just make sure you wash out all the oil and it will help reduce your pimples oh and also a balanced healthy diet will help.

Yeah, eventually. They can take some time to go away totally. When I notice a pimple, I usually put some Vaseline on it and the size reduces. For me it actually makes whiteheads go away within hours, or overnight if I sleep with it on my face.

Probably does… but will I ever find out? I think not, haha! Honestly though, I have learned that leaving them alone avoids infection, so I suppose that if you just wait, it is less likely that you will end up with a more massive pimple in the long run, eh?
